It never gets any easier for him. He gets older and fatter and less attractive. To this day he just doesn't understand how he got one of the most beautiful boys in the world to fall for him.

It all started when Lance was sixteen and pretty while Chris was twenty four and cool. Their relationship developed slowly and it just kept getting stronger.

Chris always has trouble accepting it. No matter how many times Lance tells him that they'll be together forever. Chris always has the thought, in the back of his mind, that Lance will leave him for someone else. Someone younger and better looking with more stamina. Whenever he relates this to Lance, during his most self-depricating moments, Lance simply laughs and assures him that he could never find anyone with more energy and stamina than Chris.
