lol, I have a feeling Tuesdays are gonna be busy around here *snicker*

Hmm, my request for the week:

Hurt/Comfort: Near Death Experience (almost falling out a window or off a bridge, almost choking to death, whatever...), followed by schmoopy hugs and declaration of love. I'm actually open to any *Nsync pairing for this; my OTP is TrickC, but feel free to use any pairing that makes the concept work for your muse.

You know, I pretty much wondered how in the world that DIDN'T happen when I saw that bit in Live From Madison Garden... ..I mean, they come rising out of sight-obscuring fog, for cripe's sake!

Very nice, Terri, but... ..nah, I won't complain; I'm too paranoid of being booted from this wonderful community, even if you and I =can= pick on each other.

Terri (LJ username: turps33) posted an "experimental" ficlet response to my request. She's a friend of mine, and a little nervous about her writing skills (which is silly, 'cause she tells a great story *pokes Ter less than subtly*)

It wasn't QUITE to the letter of my request, but I thought it was fine. Maybe if we all politely bug her; she'll put it back up...

Whatever it was glad you liked it. Like I said I was experimenting and really didn't know how it come across to other people.

No, no, it was fine!

I was teasing; you got it, I was just refering to lack-of-hugs-&-schmoop I was looking for. It did everything else just fine; I think it totally conveyed what you were trying to, just me teasing about lack of cuddles. :)

I think maybe in these lil fic-request cases it's kinda hard to tell how the stories "really" come across, because the reader is already going to have an expectation from the initial request. But that's fine; these are ficlets & drabbles, so there's no room to wast setting things up; if the set up is already covered by the reader seeing the original request, that's fine.

Thanks again, Ter; I probably would have requested a Chris-acrophobia story sooner or later, regardless... ;)
