My first request, inspired by comments about the recent pictures of AJ with his leopard print hair – someone didn't like it, and I thought - no way – it looks ace, and it's not like he's got a boss who's going to throw a paddy about it, you know?

So : AU AJ with a day job and a boss who looses it over the leopard print, and a boyfriend back home who appreciates, and helps with, the funky hair ? Free choice on the pairing - I'm easy that way.

AJ made it almost all the way to lunch before his boss caught him.

"McLean! In my office, now!"

AJ rolled his eyes as he made his way from behind the register and to the office in the back. What was his usually quite absent boss doing here today anyway? He ran a hand over his spotted hair as he went, gathering cimments from his co~workers.

"Care to explain what happened to your head? Was there an abduction? Have you been given only a few months to live and this is a dying wish? Did you loose a be? You've got polka dots on your head, just in case you weren't aware."

Sarcasm aside, AJ knew he wasn't pleased. So his reply, "It's leapord," didn't exactly help.

"I'm not running a zoo here."

No, AJ thought, but you are running a record shop. You'd think a little spotted hair would be cool.

"You've got the weekend off, I expect it gone by Monday."

"Yes. Mr. Johnston." AJ didn't even get a nod, his boss was already straightening out papers and had moved on.


"He really didn't like the leapord hunh?"

AJ shook his head. "No, in fact, I've got to get rid of it by Monday."

Howie put on a pained expression. He really liked the funky colouring AJ had given his hair. More so he liked the smile it put on AJ's face and he certainly wasn't going to complain about the zip it had put in their love life. If only his boss hadn't decided to come into the store today. He ran a hand over it and smiled at the low growl it elicited from his boyfriend. as he pulled his hand away, AJ nipped at his fingers, eye shining with playful desire.

Howie snatched his fingers back and gave off a small yelp before taking off for their bedroom. He could hear AJ runnng behind, snarling as he tried to catch up. Howie was tackled onto the large bed and covered with kisses while he laughed and scrambled for a grip on the very affectionate very squirmy man atop him. Eventually the attack settled into more persistant aggression and giggles and silly growling made way for sighs and pleasured moans.


Howie was toying with AJ's hair as AJ ran fingers idly up and down his back.

"So, Monday, hunh?"

AJ stiffened just the tiniest bit. Howie kissed him properly and good.

"Do you think Mr. Johnston has a position on checkerboards?"

AJ was silent for a moment, then laughed very very loud. Howie smiled and rested his cheek on AJ's chaking chest.

too cute. I'm not much for bsb fic unless it's crossover, but this was just darling and I wanted to let you know that I enjoyed reading it.

well, thanks! I'll admit to not writing much BSB at all, inclluding crossover. My bizarre personal reasons for enjoying slash don't really extend to BSB. But, I love Nick and am becoming enamored with AJ ( I had no idea he was so YOUNG)and Howie, wel, he's just cute.

I've slashed Howie with JC once. Nick with Chris a few times. Lance, Howie and Kevin once and Lance with Nick once. Howie, Keving and Justin once. lol.

I just can't seem to do intra-bsb slash. lol

Ah well, I'm sure it has a lot to do with the fact that I don't know as much about them as I do Nsync, so I don't feel that comfortable writing them.
