Importing the gems from the fic_requests LJ community

Length of story is entirely up to you. We've had everything here from drabbles to epics - well, not quite epics, perhaps, but one of my ficlets on here has ballooned into a multi-story 'episodic', at least. Usual form is to post the story to your own LJ, if it's too long to fit in, say, two or three comments, and comment with the link to the requesting post.

I'm very heartened! I like having longer-than-ficlets to read. :-)
