Mar. 10th, 2004 11:44 amI have no idea if it's been a week or not since I las requested, and um, if it isn't then I'm sorry, i'll delete the post if either of the mods tell me too. (*looks at Megan and Crystal pathetically*) Um. I'm in a very down mood and hoped maybe someone could write something to help change that?
My request is future!Lambs. They're out. and they're very much in love and um. just make it happy? something happy? please?

Date: 2004-03-09 07:49 pm (UTC)In the liner notes of Justin's 3rd album he thanked the guys. Then he thanked his lover, best friend and chosen life mate. Lance.
The press had gone nuts while the rest of the guys had simply laughed. Justin and Lance had been a couple for over two years at that point. Coming out was an wedding gift they were giving each other. They handled interview after interview with grace, dignity and subtle humor. They were instant icons in the gay community. The wedding itself was a quiet affair, attnded by family and friends. The honeymoon however was an all out media blitz. They held hands and kissed happily for everyone to see. For the first time in a long time Justin didn't hate the press and Lance didn't court it. They just were. The press became oddly respectful. Beautiful and amazingly tasteful shots of the happy couple surfaced quietly. Nobody had to buy off anyone who had grainy naked photos of them in compromising positions.
When they came home from the whirlwind trip they settled into a simple domestic existance. Lance cooked and Justin cleaned. Business was handled over the phone and they spent many a long afternoon making love in every room of their huge home. They got a dog that they took for walks in their neighborhood. Lance put a framed picture of them on his desk at A Happy Place and Justin pout their wedding picture in his wallet.
On their one year wedding anniversary Life Magazine put the Timberlake-Bass's on their cover. It was a simple shot of Lance playing with the dog, Justin watching, a loving look on his face and mug of coffee in his hand. There was no flashy speculation about the endurance of the relationship, it's moral or social ramifications. Underneath, in simple print were the words: Portrait of an American Family.
