Stupid LJ better not eat it this time.

JC was taking a well deserved break from his whirlwind tour around the states. Life on the road was still amazing after all this time--albeit, awkward without two other guys on the bus--and JC loved feeling that rush of going on the stage and traveling from place to place. There was always a need for some rest, though.

Laying on the couch in Joey's living room was the best place he could've chosen to go. Almost all of his senses were ravaged as he blissfully lounged. The smells of dinner in the kitchen, the sounds of Joey singing random show tunes, the feel of Briahna napping quietly on his chest--everything was just so domestic and comfortable.

Joey walked into the living room and upon spotting JC holding his daughter, he smiled that large, bright smile of his, and JC felt his heart swell with love. He held an arm out to Joey, careful not to wake the child on him, and beckoned him over. When Joey was close enough, JC grabbed his hand and Joey leaned over to lay a long, soft kiss on his lips.

Touring might have been amazing, but being with Joey was something JC could never live without.
