I've taken my nyquil already, and was inspired.

I could use some under the weather Brick [Brian/Nick], just one taking care of the other.

Mush is wonderful. The more sappy, the better right now! ;)

I hope this is OK, it's not 100% what you wanted, but I hope it's close enough. Damn boys would not co-operate.

Nick groaned theatrically as he rolled over in the bed, tangling himself further in the sheets. He half opened one eye to see if his acting skills had the effect he’d wanted, but unfortunately Brian was still deeply asleep, stretched out on top of the covers, frowning and mumbling.

Nick smiled as he watched Brian sleep. Brian had worked so hard over the last week looking after him, bringing him 7-Up and juice and chicken soup, wiping his forehead with a wet cloth, holding his hand and giving him hugs. It was nearly worth being ill, just to get Brian’s undivided attention.

Brian whimpered in his sleep and tugged at the collar of his shirt, causing Nick to pause and reach one hand out to wipe the hair from his forehead.

“He’s burning up”, whispered Nick to himself as he carefully climbed out of bed in need of a shower and some asprin.

After he’d showered and made coffee and poured juice, Nick carried a tray back into the bedroom, where Brian tossed and turned restlessly.

“Bri”, Nick said quietly as he gently shook Brian’s shoulder.

Brian opened his eyes and grunted at Nick.

“Time to get you undressed and get some juice and medicine into you.” Nick said briskly, tugging at Brian’s shirt.

“You don’t have to look after me, Nicky” Brian whispered.

“Of course I do. First, it’s my fault you’re sick anyway,” said Nick as he leaned down to kiss Brian on the forehead, “and second, I love you, you idiot.”
