I want happy Lambs in which mushy-romantic!Justin tries to woo Lance and there's kissing and snark and sweetness without giving me a cavity. And the other three can watch with amusement.
Okay, this is probably so not what you were looking for, but it just came out that way. I hope you enjoy it nonetheless. Not beta'd.
It was obvious from the start that Justin had a huge crush on Lance. Justin would randomly get a dreamy look on his face and as much as Chris liked to tease Justin about it, he thought it was kind of cute. Not that he would ever admit that.
Lance on the other hand seemed to be embarrassed about it at first. He'd blush every time he caught Justin staring at him and for awhile he did everything to avoid Justin.
Chris thought Lance was a moron.
He itched to do something to get the boys together, but for some reason JC and Joey were against it and since they could be very scary Chris was stuck observing the two love sick idiots.
The first phase, as Chris had dubbed it, went on for a long time. Nothing more than dreamy looks and blushing and embarrassment for both of them, but then, after the first couple months in Germany, something changed. He couldn't quite figure it out at first, but then he "accidentally" observed Justin winning a stuffed animal for Lance.
And thus phase two started, the gift giving. But Chris got annoyed with it soon, because really, how many flowers and stuffed animals does a guy need? Especially, when they got heaps of stuffed animals and flowers and chocolate from their fans?
Chris got bored and tried to pass the time with other more interesting things. He didn't think about Lance's and Justin's complicated relationship... not much anyway and he was kind of proud that he had kept his promise to JC and hadn't done anything to interfere.
Phase three made it even harder to keep his promise, because all of a sudden Justin went to him for advice. Advice on what he should do about his feelings for Lance. All Chris wanted to do was smack Justin and tell him to just go and get his man. After several attempts at more serious suggestions he did just that.
"Ow," Justin said, rubbing the back of his head and pouting like the pro he was. Not that Chris cared, he was immune to pouting kids. Instead he turned Justin around and shoved him out of his hotel room with a "just kiss him you loser."
As soon as Justin was out of the room he felt incredibly guilty. JC was going to kill him.
For three days nothing happened. Like nothing at all. JC wasn't out to get him and neither was Joey. Justin was his usual self, although sometimes Chris thought he saw hurt in Justin's eyes. And Lance was, well, Lance.
On the fourth day Chris was on his way to the rehearsal studio to get the basketball he had forgotten. He opened the door and here they were. Justin had his arms around Lance's waist, their hips pressed together. Lance was touching his index finger to Justin's lips and then he leaned forward and they were kissing. With tongue, Chris noted satisfied.
They looked cute together, so sweet as they kissed and touched each other and Chris couldn't stop grinning like a fool.
