[identity profile] seiyaharris.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] popslash_lollipops
Hey so, I'm gonna be setting up an archive for the community, and I just wanted to check in with you all and see if anyone had any objections to their fic being archived on it.
Also, if anyone has any suggestions for the site, drop me a comment, I'm more than happy to hear any and all ideas :o)

Thank you so much for doing this! I know it'll be a great site with a ton of great ficlets! :)

I think it would be cool to have two index pages, one by pairings and the other by author and also link back to the author's LJ page. But however you choose to do it, I'm sure it'll be wonderful!

OH!

Any links for me, please point them to my fic journal [livejournal.com profile] ravenfic and not my regular lj or my email.

Thank you!

You should probably include the text of the request, maybe use that as the desription for each one. And a link back to the orignal post, in case people want to see the comments about it.

And let me know if you want some help, in HTML or whatever. Or if you want to set it up, and I could help you keep it up in the future?

I second the recommendation of a link to the original post, for comments, etc. (sorry, I know that's more work! ^_^' ) The original request could be seen that way, so perhaps that'd make it easier to put a single pairing/descriptor line on the archive page... ..also, isn't everyone aware that they can click on the author's username on their comment to get to their LJ? I don't know if separate links are really needed for that, the (lj user="username") tag is more than enough for that, isn't it?

Just my two cents, keep the change...

the only thing is, if they just use the lj user tag name, people that have friendslocked journals it won't let a non friend leave a comment in their journal (granted they can still leave a comment in the fic request post) For example, my journal is friendslocked. I've had some "issues" with "fake friends" and the such, so I'm locked. My fic journal, however is not locked and I usually ask for archiving and challenge purposes that people are directed to that journal instead of my personal one.

ok.. ramabling now. Time to go eat some lunch and get my sugar levels under control. lol.

*hugs* btw... I'd like to try to catch you on AIM sometime in the next day or so, let me know when it's convienent to you, OK?
