Joey ran to the door when he heard the chimes. He flung it open and smiled widely. "Hey, Chris!" Chris managed a smile that halfway met his eyes. "Hey, Joe." He let in the older bandmate and closed the door. "So, do what do I owe this dubious pleasure?" Lance came in with a DVD case in his hand. "We are gonna have a movie night each week." Chris chuckled. "Just the three of us?" Lance nodded. "Yeah, 'cause JC is too busy for us and Justin is too good for us." Chris snorted. "Right. OK, I'm in."
They all settled in on the couch, Lance between Joey and Chris. "So, what are we watching?" "Donnie Darko." Chris nodded. "Good pick. I saw it a few years ago. But Lancey-poo over here is into psychological thrillers?" Joey had to chuckle at that, earning a glare from his lover. "Hey! I like Psycho!" The two older men shared a look. Lance sighed and turned on the DVD.

Date: 2005-05-17 06:39 pm (UTC)Throughout the movie, Chris became more tense as he felt Lance get closer. First it was Lance's shoulder against his, then a head on his shoulder with blond spikes tickling his neck, and then somehow Lance's head was in his lap. Chris couldn't help it; he had to run his hand through the young man's hair. He was afraid that Joey would look over and see him stroking his lover's scalp, and he wasn't too surprised when it happened. All he did was look toward him and smile.
"He's amazing, huh?" Chris cleared his throat. "Yep. Our little Poofoo grew up into quite a man." Joey chuckled softly, reaching out his hand to stroke Lance's hair, where Chris' hand still sat. "I love him." Chris let his fingers ghost over Joey's. "I love you both." Joey looked up at him and Chris blushed furiously. "I'll-I'll go." He said, removing his hand and getting up to leave, only to be grabbed and pulled back to a seperate couch by Joey.
"Chris, we love you, too." Chris chuckled bitterly. "I meant the other way, Joe. Like the way you love him." he said, gesturing to Lance, who was somehow still asleep on the original couch this had all started on. "Well, that's what I meant, too." Chris got bug-eyed and looked from Lance to Joey. "Yeah." Joey said. Chris nodded. "Can I ask why?" Joey just smiled and leaned in, softly kissing the older man. What was meant to be chaste and sweet turned into a passionate battle of tongues and caressing hands.
They both stopped several moments later panting for breaths. Joey cleared his throat. "Maybe this is happening a little too fast." Chris looked at him and flash of pain appeared. Joey smiled and kissed his lips quickly. "I meant the physical stuff, not this." Chris bit his lip and looked up at him with a challenging stare. "What exactly is this?" Joey shrugged. "Can't it just be us?" Chris smiled and it fully reached his eyes. "Yeah. Sounds nice."

Lance rubbed his eyes and looked around confused. He took in his surroundings; it was dark and he was in the living room. He then knew what was going on and he looked around and smiled widely when he took in the sight. He went to a nearby closet and picked up a flannel blanket. He walked over to the couple, laying the blanket over the sleeping pair. He kissed both of their foreheads and walked into his office, going back to business on his computer. Might as well do it now before he had two boys to try and distract him from it.

It's cute and warm, and a tiny bit sharp at the begning and sweet and warm and happy at the end, and the paragraph wich Lance gradually falling asleep on Chris and Chris not being able to not-touch is so very vivid, and Joey arguing their case and Chris wanting to believe but not quite is just lovely. Chris bit his lip and looked up at him with a challenging stare. - such an image of someone trying to get their defences back up and online before they get themselves heart broken ...
Thank you so much!
