Okay. I don't care what's involved, as long as it's Justin/Lance.

Lance opens his eyes just then. His eyes are glassy and don’t seem to focus well, but somehow he realizes that he’s naked and that Chris is in the same room. He makes a weak attempt to lunge from Justin’s hold to grasp a towel off the rack and nearly winds up on the floor. “Chris. No Chris. Naked. Chris bad.” Lance babbles.

The expression on Chris’ face is somewhere between being amused and being offended. If Lance wasn’t struggling so much, Justin probably would be laughing at Chris, but right now he’s too busy trying to hold Lance still. “Would you quit standing there looking stupid and get some water going in the tub for me.” Justin says to Chris.

“Naked. Chris. Bad.” Lance continues to babble as he begins to try to shoo Chris away from him.

“I’m not touching you, dork.” Chris says with a scowl at Lance. “I’m trying to be nice and help your boyfriend get you cleaned up since you are so disgusting.”

Lance turns to look up into Justin’s face. “Disgusting? Oooh. Justin, I’m sick. You go away, I’m sick. You don’t like sick.”

Justin holds Lance close and pushes some of his hair from his forehead. “I just want to get you cleaned up baby, then you can have some of the medicine the doctor ordered for you and then I’ll put you to bed.”

“Bed’s icky. I puked.” Lance mumbles.

Chris gets the tub started and turns back to Justin and Lance. “There you go man, I’m going to go now unless you need something else.”

Lance has gone limp again in Justin’s arms, almost as if he’s fallen back to sleep. Justin eyes the sick man in his arms and the half full tub of water. He doesn’t dare put Lance in the tub alone, he just knows if he did, Lance would slide under the water and drown. “Fuck. Chris, man, can you stay awhile, I don’t know if I can get him in and out of the tub without drowning him.” Justin asks.

“Sure, what do you want me to do?”

“Just hold him still, I’ll get in the tub first, then you can like help me get him in with me. Then like, when I’m done you can help me get him back out.” Justin explains.

Chris nods and moves to take Lance from Justin. The movement wakes Lance and he begins to slap at Chris once more, squirming and fussing. Then he goes still, his face gets a lovely green tint just beneath the sick pallor and before Chris or Justin can move, Lance has vomited once more. By this point Justin is convinced that he’s pissed off some higher power because once more, Lance’s has managed to be sick all over Justin. Chris somehow has managed to stay clean. Life just isn’t fair. A fact that is further driven home when Lance looks up into Justin’s face and says “Ew. You’ve got stuff on you.” Justin reminds himself once more that he loves Lance, he does and that no matter how tempting, he can’t just dump Lance into the tub and leave him to fend for himself.

Ten minutes and some struggling later, Justin is leaning against the back of the tub with Lance in front of him. Chris has graciously offered to go throw the dirty laundry in the washer for Justin and to bring Justin back something clean to wear later. Lance has snuggled up to Justin and is quiet once more. Justin enjoys the sensation of the warm water and Lance’s body weight against him. Content that they are both finally clean and hoping that they can stay that way.

Justin closes his eyes and lets his thoughts drift. He never hears Chris come back into the bathroom with the clothing nor does he hear Chris tell him that he’ll be in the other room when Justin needs him.

It’s been a long day.
