Hi,
I'm Hannah. I'm new and was wondering if a skilled writer (yes any of you!)
would be interested in writing me a Lance/JC song fic to John Mayer's song
Comfortable?

John Mayer - Comfortable

I just remembered that time at the market
snuck up behind me and jumped on my shopping cart
and rolled down aisle five
you looked behind you to smile back at me
crashed into a rack full of magazines
they asked us if we could leave

Can't remember what went wrong last September
though I'm sure you'd remind me if you had to

our love was comfortable and so broken in

I sleep with this new girl I'm still getting used to
my friends all approve,
say "she's gonna be good for you"
they throw me high fives
she says the Bible is all that she reads
and prefers that I not use profanity
your mouth was so dirty

life of the party and she swears that she's artsy
but you could distinguish Miles from Coltrane

our love was comfortable and so broken in
she's perfect
so flawless
or so they say, hey
say, hey

she thinks I can't see the smile that she's faking
and poses for pictures that aren't being taken
I loved you
grey sweatpants
no makeup
so perfect

our love was comfortable and so broken in
she's perfect
so flawless
I'm not impressed
I want you back

that you were my first love
is just dumb luck, a technicality
you were ahead of me

that you were my first love
is just dumb, dumb, stupid luck, a technicality
you'll always be ahead of me

why i have to practice on you
why i have to practice on your heart

Thank you if you can.
Luv Hannah
XOXOXO

JC leaned his head against the glass of the limo. “Do you even hear what I’m saying?” JC made a noise of acknowledgment toward Eva. They had just gotten back from some function; was it a show, or a club outing? He didn’t care anymore. Things weren’t as they were supposed to be.

“God, what is up with you?” JC finally turned his head to look at the woman. She was beautiful; she was talented, put together, glowing...fake. He had to look away again. JC Chasez wasn’t gay; but he was quite a bisexual. What he wanted wasn’t sitting next to him. What he wanted he couldn’t have. They had broken up over a year ago, but he wanted it back.

He wanted the hot and humid Florida summer mornings where they turned the central air on full blast and snuggled on the couch watching “I Love Lucy.” He longed for the times they would cook or bake something together and end up on a pile on the floor covered in batter or mix and kissed until they were breathless. His eyes misted whenever he thought about their reckless behavior at five star restaurants and swank stores and getting kicked out, even though they were big stars. He wanted it all. He wanted him. And he couldn’t have it.

“Look at me.” JC refused to even turn his head. He felt her soft fingers with manicured nails gently grab his face and turn his head. She frowned at his tears. “Josh,” he ducked his head, “We have to break up.” JC looked up and a smile spread on his face when he saw hers. “Go find what you’re looking for.”

Lance rubbed at his eyes and groaned. He looked over at the clock and rolled his eyes. Another drunken escapade and everyone always ended up at Lance’s because his place was clean and his fridge was always well stocked. He pulled himself out of bed and trudged down the stairs. “Yeah, yeah, okay.” he grunted as the door bell continued to ring. He got to the door and unlocked it, pulling it open and his eyes bugged out of his head. “Jace?” There stood JC Chasez, who was most certainly not gay, but bisexual, with a bouquet of roses, at Lance Bass’ doorstep.

“I”m an idiot.” Lance chuckled. “Thank you, Captain Obvious.” JC sighed and looked down at his feet. “I’m not going to take you back because you’re at my doorstep at three in the morning with flowers.” JC felt his heart drop. “Thank you, Captain Bring-down.” JC felt sturdy fingers with short nails gently grab his face and tilt his head upwards. “Explain why you’re an idiot, and maybe I’ll take you back.” JC let a smile appear for a moment before he frowned. “Because I let the best thing that ever happened to me walk away.” He looked over Lance; he wore a pair of sweat pants, a ratty old t-shirt and his hair stuck up in all directions. He was beautiful.

Lance smiled and grabbed the older man by the front of his shirt and pulled him into his house. He took the flowers and through them on a nearby couch. “That works. Now kiss me, you fucking sweet talker.” JC smiled and wrapped his arms around the blond, running his hands through his hair and meeting their lips together. They parted and JC ran his hand over his boyfriend’s stubbled cheek. “Do you think maybe we could cuddle on the couch tomorrow and watch ‘Lucy’?” Lance grinned and kissed his lips again. “Sure, but let’s go back to sleep first.”

–yeah, sorry, this story kind of sucks because my mind is elsewhere. I hope you enjoyed it anyway–
