Deeogee

You wrap one arm around JC's neck and hold him close to you, enjoying the feel of his body as it shakes with his laughter. In the distance you can still hear Justin screaming at the top of his lungs and you know that it's going to take some fancy talking and possibly some bribery to get you both into Justin's good graces again. You let yourself slide down the side of the house to sit on the grass, pulling JC along with you.

You can't help but wince as Justin's voice hits an especially shrill note, though your wince turns into laughter when the wriggling puppy in JC's arms barks at Justin in response.

"You tell him, babygirl." JC coos to the puppy.

You plant a kiss to JC's temple and reach out to scratch the puppy with your free hand. She moves into your touch, eyes going half-lidded in pleasure at your touch, small tail wagging slowly. When you stop scratching you, she butts her head against your hand until you stop again. "Like Father, like Daughter." You joke.

JC turns his head to look at you, he crosses his eyes and sticks out his tongue before blowing a raspberry at you. "Pfffft. If she's anyone's daughter, she'd be yours. No child of mine would have dared cause the destruction she just did in Justin's closet."

"Fine, if she's my daughter, then I get to change her name." You retort.

"And what is wrong with her name?" He asks you.

You've had this conversation many times in the two months since JC brought the puppy home with him. "C, you named her Deeogee. No one gets her name until we spell it out for them. I'm sorta tired of spelling D O G at everyone that looks at me funny." He sticks his tongue out at you once more. You reach out and take ahold of his tongue with two of your fingers. "Didn't your mother ever tell you it's not polite to stick your tongue out at people?"

"Didn't either of your mother's tell you it's not polite to let your demon dog destroy other people's houses?" Justin says as he walks around the corner of the house and towards you, startling you enough to make you let go of JC's tongue and make the puppy bark.

"Ut oh babygirl, the loud man found us." JC tells the puppy as he scrambles to his feet. "Run, babygirl, run." And just like that he's running through the yard, the puppy right at his heels.

"Hey!" You yell after him, "you just going to leave me here to take the blame?"

"Flex those muscles at him and scare him off." JC yells back.

You look up to Justin and find him smiling at you. "You know your big escape would have worked better if one of you had thought to grab your car keys." He tells you.

"Why do you think we were hiding out here?" You chuckle.

"You owe me big time, Lance. That dog made a mess."

Before you can answer, JC comes running back around the corner of the house, puppy still following closely and barking. "I'll save you, Lance." He shouts and you wonder what on earth he's babbling about then the water hits you and you notice the garden hose in JC's hands. Justin yells as he's sprayed, then he stops yelling while he sputters and coughs after taking a blast of water in the face.

"I'm going to get you, Chasez, and your little dog too." He yells and runs off in JC's direction. JC squeals and drops the hose as runs away from Justin.

The puppy walks over and climbs into your lap to lick the water off your face. You scratch her behind her ears a few times, listening to the noises of JC and Justin in the distance. It's not long before you hear one or both of them splash into the pool and the resulting laughter. "C'mon sweetie, let's go find your Daddy." You tell the pup as you move to your feet. You hold her in one arm, careful not to drop her as you pick up the hose as you pass it.

After all, you think to yourself. You have to get JC back for spraying you with the hose first.

D O G...I love it! It's perfect :)

I wonder how many of Justin's sneakers she ate. Hmmm...

I'm so glad that you liked it. :) I actually have a friend who named her dog that.

I'm just thinking now of all the mess Deeogee can make now, since you know that she's all wet and going to get dirty outside. lol. Hello Justin's white carpets, meet the wet, dirty little puppy. *smirk*

The last puppy I owned ate the wood veneer off my parent's kitchen cabinets. They wanted a redesigned kitchen anyway...Tripper was just "helping" the process along.

I loved it! That was great! I guess Deeogee wasn't house trained? Yuck! Ewww!!! Loved that it happened in Jusitn's house. :D

this is so lovely! it's shiny and happy and feels like a really vivid picture looks [ok - that makes no sense outside my head, but still]
